Bio | Yoyo Bianchi Drums

Yoyo Bianchi, born and raised in Santiago, Chile, is a professional drummer known for his energetic performances and versatile style that incorporates a blend of Hard Rock, R&B and Progressive Elements along with Latin, Ethnic and Tribal Grooves.

His drumming journey began in his hometown, where he was inspired by the rich cultural rhythms of Latin America and the vibrant South American Numetal scene. In 2008, Yoyo moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his innate passion for music on a larger stage.

In Los Angeles, Yoyo quickly made a name for himself with his powerful grooves, impeccable timing, and ability to quickly adapt to different styles and projects. He embraced the diverse music scene of his new home, seamlessly blending his Latin roots with influences from rock, metal, hip-hop, progressive and electronic music. This unique fusion has become a hallmark of his style, earning him recognition and respect in the industry.

His technical proficiency and creative flair have led to collaborations with a wide range of artists, from established acts to emerging talents. In 2024, Yoyo took a significant step in his career by joining the renowned band (hed)p.e supporting their Summer tour dates. Known for their eclectic mix of punk rock, reggae, hip-hop, and metal, (hed)p.e's dynamic sound was a perfect match for Yoyo’s versatile drumming style.

Yoyo is a highly sought-after session drummer, known for his contributions to numerous studio recordings that have received critical acclaim. His versatility in

adapting to various musical styles, combined with his profound understanding of rhythm, makes him an invaluable asset in any recording studio.
